COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

April 27, 2020 update:

Our office will remain open to clients by phone and email only, indefinitely. We are closed to in-person visits. In the event you need to pick up or drop off information we ask that you respect the safety of our front office staff by handing you documentation through the door while remaining outside. We will continue to closely monitor guidance from state and local health officials to determine the best time to re-open our office fully.

Thank you again for your continued understanding. As before, please join us in doing everything reasonably possible to limit the spread of this virus.

Original Announcement:

At Wilcox Arredondo & Co. we have always taken great pride in our ability to care for our staff, supporting our local communities, and for the level of service we have been able to provide to you, our clients. The challenges we are all facing with the COVID-19 pandemic do not change our commitment to those values and efforts. Your health and safety, as well as that of our staff and the communities we serve is our first priority. Over the past few weeks, we have taken a measured and thoughtful response to this unique situation by closely monitoring the various governmental and health agencies that provide us all with relevant information. We have been taking various precautions based on those recommendations such as having some staff work at home, sterilizing common areas, and so on. We will continue to support our staff and clients to the best of our abilities by taking the following precautionary measures:

Most of our staff will work from home except those that must work in the office in order to perform their duties. Over the past few years, we have implemented a variety of technologies that not only facilitate this ability, but make it as efficient as physically being in the office. You will still be able to reach any staff member necessary by email and telephone as if they were working in the office.

We will also be instituting safeguards for our clients by holding all meetings by telephone, and receiving documents and information electronically, by fax, or by mail whenever possible. In the event that you need to come to the office to drop off information, we will provide an area in which you can place your documents without coming into close contact with anyone. If you need to pick up information from us, we will provide it to you in a sealed envelope so that you do not need to spend any more time at our office than necessary. This will allow you to review all the documents from the safety of your home and contact us with any questions.

We anticipate being able to serve you, with these new procedures, throughout the remainder of this busy season. We will also continue to closely monitor all government and health agency ecommendations, as we recognize this is a rapidly changing situation. In closing, we hope you and your loved ones will remain healthy and safe. This situation has tested us all, and will continue to do so, but we have, and will continue to, rely on the resilience of our team to protect your interests.

Please reach out if you have additional questions.

Sincerely,
Sabino Arredondo, Managing Partner
